Children Theatre in town next week
Missoula Children’s Theatre will be putting on a performance of Pinocchio next week. The actors, Camille Perry and Donald Dilliplane, will arrive Sunday, March 1 and auditions will be Monday, March 2, at 3:30 p.m. at the Prairie Elementary Gym. Those chosen are to be prepared to stay for practice. Rehearsals will be every day during the week with performances set for Friday, March 6 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Prairie High School gym. Camille Perry is on her first tour with MCT. She is a Montana native who has attended both Harvard University and the University of Montana, working in both acting and directing. Past shows include a great many childhood MCT shows, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, A Piece of My Heart and Jesus Christ Superstar. She is living a lifelong dream on this tour and extends her love and thanks to all who have helped her reach for the stars. Donald Dilliplane is also excited to be working with MCT for the first time. He is a recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s in English and philosophy. He hopes to further his studies eventually to a Ph.D. in English. Favorite roles he’s played include Pontius Pilate in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot; Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet; and Comet in The Eight. Donald loves the arts, specifically acting, writing and directing, and he hopes to continue doing them the rest of his life. |
