Scout Troop Scoop
On January 24, Boys Scouts of Troop 638 attended a “Merit Badge University” at LCSC in Lewiston to work on the merit badges of their choice. They each chose four to work on and had one month to get them completed. Seth Chaffee completed four merit badges in the areas of dentistry, auto maintenance, metal work and architecture. Drew Cochran completed four merit badges in the areas of photography, computers, model design and cinematography. Dakota Wilson and Tyler Hankerson were also there and are working on completing their merit badges. Thank you for your continued support and encouragment with these young boys. 
Cottonwood Boys Scout Troop #638 attended “Merit Badge University” at LCSC recently. From left are Drew Cochran, Seth Chaffee, Dakota Wilson and Tyler Hankerson. Cub Scout News Pack 638 will be having their annual Pinewood Derby this Saturday, March 14th at 1:00pm at the Cottonwood Community Hall. Each den will be racing the cars they built out of a block of wood. Racing will start off with each scout racing others from their den.
