On April 25th, 2009 Troop 638 and Cub Scout Pack 638 did their annual spring highway cleanup.  There was 11 scouts and 11 adults present. t took us about 1 ½ hours to do the clean up.  We bagged about 24 sacks of garbage, miscellaneous signs, wood, and more.  In scouting we teach the boys “Leave No Trace”, and the “Outdoor Code”.  If we pack it in, we pack it out.  Leave your campsite cleaner than what it was when you got there. Please help us in keeping cottonwood and the surrounding areas clean.  Put a garbage bag in your vehicle and at your next stop place it in the garbage.  Thank you for supporting your local Scouts.
