Seventeen students had perfect 4.0 grade point averages in the fourth quarter of the 2008-09 school year at Prairie High School.
They were Kyle Daly, Laura Gehring, Rachel Kaschmitter, Leora Laurino and Kelsey Marker in the senior class; Andrew Gabica, NaTosha Schaeffer, Kyler Shumway, David Sigler and Philipp Smakman in the junior class; Slias Whitley in the sophomore class and Mckenzie Candalot, Samantha Keating, Troy Lorentz, MaKayla Schaeffer, Ashley Shumway and Megan Sigler in the freshman class. . . .

Summit announced high school honor roll; Summit students clean highway
Fourth quarter high school honor roll students were released this week by Summit Academy officials, with four students earning maximum high honor, 4.00, status. . . . 
Fifteen high school students from Summit Academy descended on their two-mile strip of highway, between Cottonwood and Ferdinand, and collected 23 bags of liter in record time of one hour and 10 minutes on Thursday, the last week of school. . . .
