It was quite a windstorm that rolled through Cottonwood
on Sunday. We’ve had no reports of any structural damage but this tree
at the Timmie Thomas home at the corner of Garrett and King Streets lost
a couple of sizable limbs. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Kim Schumacher is shown reading to the children at
the Summer Reading Program. 25 kids participated in Thursday's activities
which included stories, flower crafts, tap dancing and a snack. The
program will continue this Thursday at the library at 1:30. All kids
age 3 yrs through elementary school are encouraged to attend.
