on the Wall continue July 31
Well, movie fans, the weather hasn’t always been very cooperative so far this summer for our “Movies on the Wall” community fun, although it cooperated last Friday. The next movie will be next Friday, July 31, in the park at dusk. Prairie Horizons is sponsoring this fundraising activity for the whole family. Remember to BYOC (bring your own chair). All proceeds will go towards the renovation of the Community Hall. Concessions are available at $1.50 each and donations are gladly accepted. Listed are the remaining movies planned for the summer. July 31 – E.T. PG August 7 – Horton Hears a Who G August 19 (Wednesday night) – TBA August 28 – The Bee Movie PG It’s also time to register for the 2nd Annual Prairie Horizons Dutch Oven Cook-Off being held in Cottonwood’s City Park during this year’s Idaho County Fair. Set aside Saturday, August 22nd to cook your favorite dishes. This year’s categories for judging include Main Dish, Side dish/Bread, Dessert, and Taster’s Choice.
