rehearsal set for Monday
The Prairie High School Pirate Band will be performing at the Idaho County Fair Parade Saturday, August 22. Any past or present PHS students who have played an instrument are invited to join them for this event. There will be a warm-up rehearsal next Monday, August 17 at the Prairie Middle School band room with a Drum Line rehearsal set for 5 to 5:30 p.m. and a Combined Band rehearsal from 5:30 to 6. A barbecue will be served from 6 to 6:30. (You may want to equip yourself with H2O cannons, squirt guns, water balloons, etc., to cool off after band practice.) The schedule for Saturday, August 22 is to meet at the PMS band room for line up at 9 a.m. for the 10 a.m. parade. Uniforms will be shorts, sneakers, any PHS class, athletic jersey or band shirt, hat and sunglasses.
