tries out for Roundup Royalty
Brandee Seubert the 16 year old daughter of Shawn and Jill Seubert traveled to Lewiston Wednesday Aug. 19th to try out for a chance to be royalty for 2010 Lewiston Roundup. 
A queen and two princesses will be chosen. Brandee and 6 other girls were asked to complete a pattern with their horses, given to them 1 week prior to tryouts, as well as a flag run. Brandee rode her leased quarter horse mare named Mia which she has been riding & training this last year. The girls were then asked to complete a small written test about the Lewiston Roundup and a 15 minute interview with 3 judges. The girls were then asked to give a 1-2 minute speech. Winners will be announced Sept. 2009 at the 75th annual Lewiston Roundup. So if you happen to be at the Lewiston Roundup on Sunday September 13th, don’t forget to cheer her on! |
