earn medals at Orofino
The Cottonwood Wrestling Club had 15 wrestlers attend the USA Wrestling Tournament held in Orofino on Saturday, October 24th. Wrestlers receiving medals were Caleb Butler, 3rd place; Matthew Seubert, 1st place; Braden Nopens, 3rd place; Caleb McWilliams, 2nd place; Nathan Gimmeson, 3rd place; Cole Creutzberg, 3rd place; Kellie Heitman, 2nd place; Hunter McWilliams, 1st place and Tayler Heitman, 1st place. Other wrestlers were Dallon Roberts, Mackenzie Key, Evan Allen, Kyle Schwartz, Josie Remacle, and Jared Nopens. The next tournament will be held on October 31st in Kamiah.
Open Until Midnight, Kids Shopping Days set for Dec. 4-5 Open Until Midnight and Kids Shopping Day is set for December 4th and 5th at Prairie Elementary. On Friday December 4th children can come to the Center for Discovery right after school and stay until midnight and go shopping for their families All items are priced from $.25 to $5.00. We have new and gently used items for every member of the family. Pizza dinner will be provided followed by a movie and popcorn. Cost is $1.50 per hour. This is a great time for parents to finish up that last minute gift shopping, attend Christmas parties or just have a night out. December 5th we are open to the public from 8:00am to 12:00 come and check it out. Center for Discovery is Now Accepting Donations The Center for Discovery is now accepting donations for the kids shopping day. We will gladly take all new and gently used items. We are in great need of mens items so if you have anything you would like to donate you may drop it off at the Center for Discovery or call Erin at 962-7080 for pickup. |
