producer meeting set for Friday
Wheat and barley farmers from Idaho and Lewis Counties are invited to attend a joint meeting at the Greencreek Community Hall on Friday, October 30, beginning at 9:00 A. M. The annual meeting will feature a presentation and discussion by the USDA Farm Service Agency on the 2010 ACRE program, and 2008 SURE disaster program available to local producers. Following the presentation, growers will break out into individual county meetings to discuss issues facing their operations. Following the county meetings a lunch will be hosted by the two counties and state Grain Producer Organization.
