Staff from Prairie Elementary, Middle and High Schools
joined another 37 schools at LCSC to scratch tickets for Cash for Schools.
Each group was given 300 lottery tickets and 5 minutes to scratch as many
as possible. Our lunch lady Bertie Forsmann from Prairie High School
scratched a $500.00 ticket. (I guess she is the lunch
lady with the loot) Prairie Middle School moved from the 1st round
to the 2nd round and was given another 300 tickets to scratch. They
came in 2nd place when it was all said and done and received another 150
tickets – totaling 750. With the combined effort from all of
the “scratchers”, our student body funds will receive $1,274.00. Participants:
Greg Deiss, Lydia Deiss, Bertie Forsmann, Denise Poxleitner, Jake Forsmann,
Marlene Forsmann, Renee’ Eckert, Rene’ Forsmann and Denise Uhlenkott.
