earn medals at C.V. Tournament
Thirteen members of the Cottonwood Wrestling Club attended the Clearwater
Valley Tournament held on Saturday, November 14th. Seven members
brought home medals – Dallon Roberts at 39.5 lbs, 3rd place; Caleb Butler
at 43.5 lbs, 2nd place; Braden Nopens at 53 lbs, 3rd place; Caleb McWilliams
at 76.5 lbs, 2nd place; Cole Creutzberg at 140 lbs, 2nd place; Hunter McWilliams
at 89.5 lbs, 3rd place; and Tayler Heitman at 116.5 lbs, 3rd place.
Other members of the club attending were Mackenzie Key, Evan Allen, Kyle
Schwartz, Josie Remacle, Jared Nopens, and Kellie Heitman. The tournament
hosted 164 USA wrestling members from Grangeville, Clearwater Valley, Kamiah,
Orofino, Lewiston, Clarkston, Potlatch, Cottonwood, Boise, and Moscow.
The Cottonwood Wrestling Club will host the final tournament of the season
at the Prairie Middle School starting at 10:00PM. |
