Thanks to dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers, a total of 236 recyclers, and the support and hard work of Lewis and Clark Recycling Inc., cold weather and a holiday weekend did not slow down the Idaho County Recycling effort. Nearly 11 ton of materials (21, 860 pounds) was collected at Fenn and at Kooskia on Saturday and Sunday. This was an increase of over 3,500 pounds above the amount collected in November. The program continues to grow as there were 76 first time participants, 48 at Fenn and 28 at Kooskia. January 16th and 17th will be the next recycling days at Fenn and Kooskia. Mark your 2010 calendars for the third weekend of each month, February 20th and 21st etc. Check the web site at www.idahocounty.org for information and updates. |
