High Wrestlers doing very well
At Kamiah Dual
At the Kamiah dual on January 19th, the Prairie Jr High Wrestling team
competed with Kamiah, Orofino, and Grangeville. Hunter McWilliams
won both of his matches by pin over opponents Dillan Mattson, Grangeville
and Bo Marek, Grangeville. Dally Ratcliff won his matches by pin
over Rory Martress, Orofino, and a decision in overtime over Tyler Ringen,
Kamiah. Justin Ross won by pin over opponents Riley West, Kamiah
and Rory Martress, Orofino.
At Grangeville Dual
At the Grangeville dual on January 21st, the Prairie Jr High Wrestling
team with Kamiah, Orofino, and Grangeville. Hunter McWilliams won
be decision over Zack Wilkins, Kamiah. Dally Ratcliff lost by decision
to Tyler Ringen, Kamiah before pinning Marcus of Grangeville. Justin
Ross won by pins over both opponents Bo Marek, Grangeville and Rily West,
Kamiah.
At Grangeville Tournament
The Prairie Jr High Wrestling team placed third in the Grangeville Tournament
on Saturday, January 23rd with Orofino taking 1st, Kamiah 2nd, and Grangeville
4th. Hunter McWilliams took 2nd place with a decision loss to Zack
Wilkins, Kamiah and pinning Dillan Mattson, Grangeville. Dally Ratcliff
took 1st place pinning Rily West , Kamiah and a decision over Bo Marek,
Grangeville. Justin Ross placed 1st with pins over opponents Rory
Martress, Orofino and Tyler Ringen, Kamiah. In exhibition matches,
Hunter McWilliams pinned Tyler Ringen, Kamiah and Rily West, Kamiah; Dally
Ratcliff decisioned Tyler Ringen, Kamiah, and lost by pin to Zack Wilkins,
Kamiah; Justin Ross lost by pin to Zack Wilkins, Kamiah and pinned
Rory Martress, Orofino.
