is employee of the month
Lucena ‘Lucy’ Trautman, CNA, was nominated as the St. Mary’s Hospital
Employee of the Month by a number of her co-workers. The final selection
was made by the SMHC Customer Service team at their last meeting.

wins State title; Gun Club scores another perfect 75; Players chosen for
all-star games
The Prairie Pirates beat Cascade, Raft River and Castleford to win
their first State title since 1982. . . .
The day turned out beautiful for the shooters and the scores. . . .
Several local players have been chosen to compete in the District II
All-Star games set for Wednesday, March 10 at Lewiston’s Booth Hall. .

The Prairie boys basketball team receives the 1-A
Division 1 academic award for being the team in their division with the
highest team grade point average. The trophy was awarded prior to the state

Ted Arnzen was presented a Sportsmanship t-shirt prior
to the start of the Cascade game. Prairie coach Teel Bruner was presented
the shirt by the tournament director and he presented it to Arnzen. Behind
Bruner is assistant coach Kevin Chaffee.

Monday night was try outs for the Missoula Children’s
Theatre took place in Cottonwood, we had over 70 kids tryout and over 60
