Seniors Sam Spencer and Hilaree VanderPas accept the second place trophy from Travis Mader. Fellow seniors Sammi Frei and Alena Hoene are at left. Nobody's is ever thrilled to get the second place trophy but this group of seniors (along with Amber Holthaus, not shown) capped off a 4-year run where they won 90 games and lost just 11 and played for 4 state championships, winning 3.
