to graduate at PHS
40 seniors will graduate from Prairie High School this Friday, May 28 starting at 7 p.m. at the PHS gym. Co-Valedictorians NaTosha Schaeffer, Kyler Shumway and David Sigler will lead the class of 2010 along with Salutatorian Wyatt Williams. Other seniors earning high honors for a grade point average above 3.5 are Andrew Gabica, James hager, Kyle Holthaus, Derek Schaeffer and Mary Shears. 17 seniors earned honors for a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49. They are Jessica Bartlett, Amber Frei, Chelsea Geis, Nichole Gimmeson, Kristin Hill, Alena Hoene, Amber Holthaus, Robin Krol, Brandon Poxleitner, Eli Rad, Taylor Ratcliff, Conner Rieman, Dustin Schaeffer, Joseph Schumacher, Regina Seubert, Samantha Spencer and Chaelena Wimer. Also graduating are Nicholas Ackerman, Casey Bruegeman, Samantha Frei, jack George, Brittney Hammond, Andrew Ingram, Tyrell Langston, Tobie Lovell, Jeremy Ross, Christopher Schmidt, Jake Seubert, Hilaree VanderPas, Branden Waller and Justina Sigler. For the second time in the last few years Jerry Uhling, a former teacher and coach at PHS as well as an alum, will be the Commencement Speaker. The Class Flower is the Rose while the Class Colors are Camo and Chrome and the Class Song is “Smalltown USA.” The class motto is “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matter compared to what lies within us.” 5 to graduate at Summit Summit Academy will hold graduation ceremonies for the 5 members of the class of 2010 on Saturday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Summit Academy gym. Margaret Yalbuw is the Valedictorian for the class while Dylan Prigge is the Salutatorian. Also graduating are Josh Frei, Tara Stubbers and Jenn Wemhoff. Class colors are Burgundy and Navy while the class flower is a yellow rose. The class song is “I hope you had the time of your life” by Green Day.
