is recycling weekend
The next Idaho County recycling events will be the weekend of June 19 and 20. Patrons are reminded to please rinse cans and plastics and sort recyclables by category: cans, cardboard, paper and plastics. Cans should have labels removed and lids secured; plastics should have caps removed and be crushed. The Idaho County Recycling committee requests that recyclables be transported in cardboard boxes or reuseable totes to reduce the amount of throwaway plastic bags. The collection sites are at the Fenn grain elevators on Saturday, June 19 and at Kooskia City Park on Sunday June 20.
