for the Cure grant. The grant provides for 40 free mammograms and
100 no cost wellness exams for female residents of Idaho County between

The breakfast crowd was winding down at 10:30 at the
Greencreek 4th of July Celebration. Apparently things started slow as very
few people showed up in the first hour but from 8 a.m. on they had a steady

Elmer Wessels was grand marshal for the 2010 Greencreek
4th of July celebration. Elmer said they presented him with the medallion,
congratulated him, then handed him the coffee pot and told him to get to
work. By the way, nice hat.

The 18th Annual Raspberry Festival is dedicated to
Sr. Wilma Schlangen (1915-2010). Sr. Wilma tended the St. Gertrude’s raspberry
patch for decades and provided inspiration for the festival. The Festival
is set for Sunday, August 1. See articles above left for info on some of
the events.
