To the Editor
For All the World's Ills,
the First Essential Remedy:
Reverence and Protect Human Life!
It seems that at any point in time, our humanity and the planet we call home is plagued by so many problems, so much heartache, so much need.  Seemingly, too, never more so than in our present day.
We indeed gratefully acknowledge the millions of caring people around the globe dedicated in a myriad of ways to alleviating suffering and wrong, to make the world a better place.  Obviously, ever and always, much more remains to be done.
I merely submit that amidst all the efforts for good in the world, ONE of supreme, general importance stands out:  that of our openly honoring the sacredness of human life.
Coming as it does from the one divine, creative Source, all life is sacred, but on this earth plane, none more so than human.  And so, without apology, I state my conviction as follows:
The creative Spirit of all Life and Love is such that if only we humans would stand as one to speak out and demand cessation of all unjust killing of our fellow beings - - within the womb and without, including elimination of the scourge of all imperialist, invasive wars - - "God only knows" what miraculous healing power might be unleashed upon us, and begin to encircle and flood the earth.  Again, God ONLY knows, but one thing is for sure:  The ball is in our court.  The God and Father of all Life lovingly awaits our move.  What shall it be, and when?  Will there ever be a better time than now?
