Christmas Parade is Dec. 19
The 8th annual Lighted Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce, is set for Sunday, Dec. 19. Parade lineup will be at 4:30 p.m. in the Catholic Church parking lot with the parade set to start at 5 p.m. Build a float, put lights on a 4-wheeler, truck or car or just walk the parade. Most any type of entry is welcome. New this year several downtown businesses will be open for a little extra shopping time as Arnzen Drug, Hoene Hardware, A-1 Flowers & More, Corner Cupboard and Mager Bargains have said they plan to be open. You can also see Santa Claus at Santa’s Cabana on Main Street. Snacks, drinks and pictures with Santa will be available. Prior to the parade the Library is planning a Christmas Story Hour which will start at 3 p.m. Following that there will be a craft time at A-1 Flowers. A-1 Flowers will have a build your own bouquet class and Angie’s Crafts will have a paint your own ornament class, both at A-! Flowers.
