Healthy Horizons session is Tuesday
The St. Mary’s Hospital Cottonwood clinic is hosting another session in their ongoing Healthy Horizons series designed for people interested in making healthy lifestyle choices and managing their weight. The session will be held Tuesday, December 21 at 5:30 p.m. Interested people can drop into the program at any time. Participants are asked to pay $10 at their first session and $5.00 for any subsequent session. The topic, Exercise: What Works for You, scheduled for next Tuesday, will include information on designing an exercise program that’s right for you. The facilitators for the Cottonwood sessions are Becky Ewing, RN, CDE; Vicki Berg, RN, CDE and Kevin Conger, DTR. The program is also being offered in Grangeville and Kamiah. The sessions are held every other Tuesday. They begin with a confidential weigh in followed by a 30 minute educational and support session. No pre-registration is necessary.
