Ellis
named Idaho VFW teacher of the year
Grangeville resident and Prairie Elementary School teacher Krystal Ellis was named Idaho State VFW K-5, Teacher of the Year. She received the first place award in Boise last weekend at the State VFW Mid-Winter conference. The award was presented by special guest, Richard L. Eubank, the VFW National Commander-in-Chief. Ellis, herself a veteran, had already won the Cottonwood Post competition and VFW District II. Now with the State award behind her, she will compete for the National VFW award next March in Washington D.C. Krystal, her husband Tony and infant daughter traveled to Boise to receive the award along with family and friends. |
