Are you looking for a fantastic way to celebrate with your Valentine this year? Here’s a suggestion: Invite some friends to join you and your spouse at the Sweetheart Mass and Dinner Reception on Monday, February 14th. As a couple, you will be able to honor your marriage in a special way with Mass and then enjoy a fabulous dinner and reception. The Sweetheart Mass will begin at 6:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Cottonwood. Couples will then take a short drive to Cottonwood Community Hall where a delicious meal of their choice of chicken or pork will be served. Couples can then spend the remainder of the evening visiting with friends, dancing, or just enjoying an enchanted evening with their spouse. This event is a gift to be shared between sweethearts and is not a fundraiser. However, if couples wish, they may donate to cover the cost of their meal. So invite your friends, your family, or your neighbors and make a date to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Then call 983-8767 or e-mail sweetheartmass2011@hotmail.com to have your table set up just right for your party’s dining pleasure. Reservations are requested by Friday, February 4th so that a suitable amount of food can be ordered and the cooks and crew can prepare for the evening. To make the Sweetheart Mass run smoothly, help of all kinds is needed and very much appreciated. Couples, singles, adults, and teens are all welcome to join in creating this romantic evening.
