Cub Scout Pack 638 and Girl Scout Troop 3785 enjoy time on the Grangeville Tubing Hill. With two hours of fun ahead, they made their way down the slope with lots of hollering and good memories. The exchange students in our area were able to enjoy this experience also. Thank you Dan and Laurie Karel and host families for giving the students an opportunity they won’t forget. The hill was mighty slick to start out with. We had to do a little foot dragging so we didn’t shoot over the end of the run. Also thanks to Scott and Audra Wasem who support these kids. Scouts shown are Caleb Butler, Cole Martin, Hunter Chaffee, Matt & Jared Coppernoll, Carson Schmidt, Travis Alfrey, Anthony Karel and Ciara Chaffee. Exchange students were Sidney Camara and Neto Laudenor. The top photo shows all the area exchange students with Sidney and Neto in the middle flanking the girl in the white coat. Sidney is on the right. The lower photo shows the local Scouts. Photos by Shari Chaffee. Click on the photos for larger views.
