Community Library News
Last week at the library was a very active and rewarding week. Zeke Williams began his basic computer class with six adults attending. Everyone agreed it was well worth the time and are looking forward to the second class on Thursday, 4:30 to 5:30 at the Library. It's not too late to join. Thursday morning found seven ladies enjoying coffee hour in the quiet atmosphere of the library. Bring a friend, have a cup of coffee and take a look at what the library has to offer. Ladies of the Library hosted the monthly Chamber meeting with a nice lunch being served. It also was well attended. There are lots of new and exciting events taking place in the library. There are new books being shelved as the worn or outdated ones are replaced. This will be an on going project through the month of March and anyone willing to share their time Tuesday or Thursday, would be most welcome. Call the library at 962-3794 for details. |
