Museum closed for renovations
The Historical Museum at St. Gertrude is temporarily closed for renovations.
We are retiling the bathrooms and installing new shelving in the spirit
Center storage area and in the curator’s workroom. This week we will
finish the upgrade of the security system. We hope that the lighting
ballasts will arrive this week or next so that we can complete the lighting
upgrade, which will bring substantial energy and energy cost savings.
The museum will reopen on Tuesday, March 1.
