library memberships in April
National Library Week is April 10th-16th and your local Prairie Community Library has some special activities planned for you. But more about that in another article because, in recognition of the support PCL has received from local businesses this past year, the library board is declaring April as PCL Support Local Commerce Month. During the month of April, anyone who brings in receipts from local businesses totaling $250 or more will receive a complimentary one-year library membership. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting those who have so generously supported the library. To qualify, all receipts must be from businesses within the Prairie Community Library service area, must be original receipts showing the business name and date of purchase, and must be presented together at one time during normal library hours. Our service area includes businesses located in Cottonwood, Keuterville, Ferdinand, and Greencreek. This offer is good for new memberships as well as for renewals of existing memberships. So, in April, plan to get your vehicle’s oil changed, buy some paint, stock up on groceries, get a haircut, order a hamburger, whatever! As long as it’s at a local business, it counts. If you have any questions, just let us know by calling PCL at 962-3714, emailing us at info@prairiecommunitylibrary.com, posting your question to us on Facebook, or just by stopping in on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday when the library is open. And remember, a PCL membership unlocks an unlimited supply of knowledge. Just bring your own container! |
