The St. Mary’s Hospital fundraiser, Dancing with the Stars, is extending the deadline for phoning in reservations or purchasing tickets.  Guests
have until 5:00 p.m. Thursday to call Cheri Holthaus, 962-2327 or
Jim May, 476-8052 or tickets can be purchased until that date at the locations
listed below.
Tickets are $30 per person which includes a catered dinner, a funny money casino, dancing, an opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items and a no host bar. All proceeds benefit the programs and services of St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics. “This is a busy time of the year for many people so we decided to extend the available time to accommodate those people who may be interested in coming to our fundraiser, but didn’t have time to make their reservations,” said Jim May, SMHC Development Director. “Everyone had such a great time at the Mardi Gras last year we thought bringing people together for friendship, fun and fundraising might even be better the second time around!” The evening begins with a social hour at 5:00, dinner at 6:00, auction at 7:00, DJ Dancing at 8:00 and Funny Money Casino from 9:30 to 11:00. The gala will be held at the Cottonwood Community Center. Tickets can be purchased at SMH, Grangeville Physical Therapy, the Kamiah Medical Clinic and Cedar Creek Creations and True Value Hardware in Kamiah, plus US Bank in Cottonwood. “We hope people from the communities we serve will join us to celebrate award winning healthcare close to home. We’re issuing a special invitation to people who live in Kamiah, Craigmont, Nezperce, Grangeville, Elk City, Cottonwood and points in between. Those are the locations of our clinics which people have supported through the years,” said May. “This is one more way to support St. Mary’s and have a good time in the process.”  |
