qualify for State Rodeo
The High School Rodeo season ended this past weekend. Members of the Prairie High School rodeo team are Jared Arnzen, Callie Mader, Kelsey Tidwell and MaKayla Schaeffer. Those qualifying for state competition are Jared Arnzen in Bareback, Callie Mader in barrels and MaKayla Schaeffer in Poles, Breakaway and Team Roping. Mader took 2nd place in the barrels at the District competition with 67 points and was 8th among girls in overall points. Schaeffer was 5th in poles with 34 points, 6th in breakaway with 30 points, tied for 1st in team roping with 39 points and was 9th in overall points. Arnzen was named co-rookie of the year. The State Rodeo will be in Pocatello June 12 through the 18th.
