Scramble set for July 10
The 12th Annual St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Golf Scramble will be held on Sunday, July 10th at the Grangeville Golf and Country Club. Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. with a 3:00 p.m. start. The $50 per person entry fee includes dinner for golfer and guest, entry fees, and non-alcoholic beverages. The 18 hole scramble is designed for 16 four person teams. “We receive such high praise for our golf tournament every year because it’s friendly competition and a lot of camaraderie while raising funds for a good cause,” said Jim May, SMHC Development Director. “I hope everyone will consider forming team and joining us for this fun event.” The afternoon will also feature a silent auction for two separate golf weekends. The Coeur d’Alene Resort golf package includes one night’s deluxe accommodation (double occupancy) and two round of golf at the resort golf course. The McCall Lake Shore Lodge and Whitetail Golf Course weekend includes two nights lodging in a lake view room and one round of golf for two. Both will have minimum bids and must be used in 2011. Cash prizes will be presented for first, second and third place teams. The scramble includes two par three hole-in-one competition for a $25,000 prize. Anyone lucky enough to score a tee shot landing within ten feet of holes 9 and 18 will win $50. For more information about handicaps or to register call Jim May or Cheri Holthaus at St. Mary’s Hospital, 962-3251. Preregistration forms are available at the SMH clinics and various businesses in Cottonwood, Grangeville, Nezperce and Kamiah. |
