set for Nick Arnzen
Several friends are holding a benefit dinner, auction and dance for Nick Arnzen on Saturday, June 25th at Hoot’s Café near Whitebird. Arnzen, son of Shorty and Marge Arnzen of Cottonwood, was injured in a ranch accident in Oregon last fall. Proceeds from the benefit will go to medical bills and travel expenses. The dinner will start at 6 p.m. with the auction set for 7:30 p.m. The dance will follow the auction. Advanced tickets are $20 and includes the dinner, auction and dance and an entry into a drawing for a Weber Gas Grill. They are being sold at Les Schwab, Primeland, Hoot’s Café and Bud’s Saw Service. Tickets purchased at the door are $25 each and includes the dinner, auction and dance. Dance only tickets are available at the door for $10 each. Must be 21 or older for the dance. Some of the items available at the auction are a Jet Boat trip with Killgore River Adventure; Dinner for two at Mac’s, $400 voucher for beef at Grangeville Cash & Carry; Home Made Saddle Blanket, Lawn Mower and a basket of wine. Cash donations may be made at Potlatch Credit Union in Grangeville c/o Nick Arnzen.
