Scramble registrations being accepted
Four person teams interested in playing in the 12th Annual St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Golf Scramble are encouraged to register by calling the hospital, 962-3251. Only 16 team registrations will be accepted for the Sunday, July 10th event at the Grangeville Golf and Country Club. Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. with a 3:00 p.m. start. The $50 per person entry fee includes dinner for golfer and guest, entry fees, and non-alcoholic beverages. Cash prizes will be presented for first, second and third place teams. The scramble includes two par three hole-in-one competitions for a $25,000 prize. Anyone lucky enough to score a tee shot landing within ten feet of holes 9 and 18 will win $50. The silent auction features two separate golf weekends. The Coeur d’Alene Resort golf package includes one night’s deluxe accommodation (double occupancy) and one round of golf for two at the resort golf course. The McCall Lake Shore Lodge and Whitetail Golf Course weekend includes two nights lodging in a lake view room and one round of golf for two. According to Jim May, SMH Development Director, both will have minimum bids but represent a great savings and must be used in 2011.
