It was a near full house in the hall at 9:30 a.m.

eaten breakfast are playing bingo in the background. Click on the photo

Our guests for the Summer Reading Program on Thursday
June 30th were Krystal Ellis and Jill Rehder. Krystal taught us some
Korean words and phrases, and we sang a song in Korean. Jill showed
some pictures of her trip to Kenya, Africa. We saw the orphanage
and the hospital where her team of doctors and nurses performed surgeries
on children with cleft lips. We were all very touched by the photos
and by Jill's stories of these kids and their families. We also enjoyed
the photos of her safari trip and the tribe that she met there. Thank
you to both Jill and Krystal for spending the afternoon with us. Photo
provided by Aleta Coppernoll. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Three legged races were a lot of fun for the children
at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Vacation Bible School last week. Over 50
children in grades K-4 and 26 teen leaders attended VBS. Thank you to all
the teen leaders, adult leaders and everyone who helped make VBS a success.
