football signups
Camas Prairie Youth Football (PeeWee Football) signups are set for Thursday, August 18 at 6 p.m. at the Cottonwood football field and Tuesday, August 23 at the Prairie Elementary School (former Middle School) open house. PeeWee Football is open to students in grades 2-6 at Prairie, Summit, Nezperce and Highland Schools. Cost is $50. Call Teel Bruner, 962-5542, if any questions. Jr. High Football to start practice Prairie Junior High football practice will start Wednesday, August 24 after school. This is open to 7th and 8th graders and will take place at the football field. 
Football practice started Monday evening for the PHS football team. There are 42 players turned out to this point. Some of the players are shown practicing a running play. Prairie’s first varsity game is set for Sept. 2 at Genesee with the JV getting into action a night earlier against Troy at Cottonwood.
