and adult sessions to be presented by YWCA
The On Mighty Ground Catholic Youth Ministry will be hosting 3 presentations for our local Jr. High and High School youth. These sessions will be presented by the YWCA and will take place in the Sacred Heart Room at St. mary’s Church. Please note the dates and encourage your teen to attend. All denominations welcome! On Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. the focus will be “Healthy Teen Relationships.” On Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. the focus will be “Digital Technology and Dating.” On Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. the focus will be “Teen Dating Abuse.” Please encourage your teen to attend, this information is vital to understanding the process of teen dating in today’s world! In conjunction with the teen sessions, St. Mary’s is also hosting 3 presentations for the adults of teens or member in the community who are associated with teens. These sessions will also be presented by the YWCA and will take place at the Ferdinand Hall. Again, all denominations are welcome! The dates for these sessions are: Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. The focus will be “Teen Dating Abuse.” The second session is on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. The focus is “In Their Shoes.” The final session is on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. and the focus is “Myth Busters.” All session will be 1½ hours long and snacks and drinks will be provided.
