At the October Knights of Columbus meeting, Council 1389 chose the family of the month and Knight of the month for September 2011. We would like to recognize the Ryan Uhlenkott family as our family of the month. Their commitment to the church and community is evidenced by the work done through their leadership in planning and coordinating the construction of the new elementary school PEACE building. We thank them for their energy, many hours, and hard work in bringing the new release time building to life. Thank you and congratulations to Ryan, Heather, and family. We also offer our congratulations to Jack Uptmor on his selection as Knight of the Month for September, 2011. Jack has been the membership chairman for many years and the council has benefitted from his continuous hard work and leadership. Council 1389 was recognized as a “Star Council” for meeting or exceeding recruiting objectives for two successive years by the Supreme Council in New Haven, Connecticut. Jack was very instrumental in the council achieving this award. Thank you Jack for your efforts. |
