The Prairie wrestling team took third as a team and had 3 individual champions at the Mile High Classic Wrestling Tournament held at McCall Jan. 20 and 21. They also had 2 seconds and a third out of 6 wrestlers competing. Dally Ratcliff, 113 lbs - decisioned Rob Pair of Cascade 11-9, decisioned Brayden Perkins of Gooding 16-1, and lost to Rainer Montes of McCall 1-12, for 2nd place Justin Ross, 120 lbs - lost to Dan Flick of Gooding by pin, pinned Benny Flores of Wendall, lost to Hunter McWilliams Prairie by pin, pinned Bo Marek of Grangeville, for 3rd place Hunter McWilliams, 120 lbs - pinned Dan Flick of Gooding, pinned Bo Marek of Grangeville, pinned Justin Ross of Prairie and pinned Benny Flores of Wendall for 1st place Alex Duman, 126 lbs - pinned Santos Ponce of Gooding, pinned Jacob Whittlekiend of Wendall, pinned Cody Appa of Mcall, and decisioned Casey Clark 7-1 for 1st place Tayler Heitman, 138 lbs - decisioned Clay Price of Gooding 9-2, decisioned Junior Ponce of Gooding 16-12, decisioned Kaleb Bowers of Wendell 9-6, pinned Schuyler Nebeker of Wendell for 1st place Garrett Schmidt, 195 lbs - pinned Kyle Rison of Gooding, pinned Emily Remington of Clearwater Valley, pinned RJ Combs of Wendell, lost to Todd Allen of McCall by pin for 2nd place Top 4 team scores were: McCall 141, Gooding 100, Prairie 95, Grangeville 86 The match scheduled with Grangeville, Tuesday, January 24th has been changed to Thursday, January 26th.
