HEY KIDS, THIS ONE'S FOR YOU!!. Do you like to write stories? You can share your talent by entering the " Kids Go! Writers Contest" that is now underway for all children in grades K-3. Sponsored by Idaho Public Television. The 2012 PBS Kids Go! Writers Contest is in its 18th year. The contest encourages inspiring writers to be creative and rewards imagination As in the past, all children who enter will be rewarded for his/her efforts with a certificate and congratulatory letter from Idaho Public Television. State/regional winners will be invited to an award ceremony and awarded a prize package, and then compete at the national level for tablet computers, e-readers, and mp3 players. For the first time, teachers and parents can enter the stories online in addition to the traditional method of sending via the postal service. Bring your parents to the Library for entry forms and more information. Let's prove that Prairie Kids have talent and are winners. |
