players chosen for All-Star Contest
Several local players, plus a coach have been chosen for the District II all-star basketball games set for Tuesday, March 6 at Lewiston’s Booth Hall. Megan Sigler, MeShel Rad and MaKayla Schaeffer from the Prairie state championship basketball team have all been chosen for the South squad along with Savanah Prigge from the state runner-up Summit team. Prairie’s Lori Mader and her sister, Tina Ulmer of Kamiah have been selected as the coaches for the South team. Justin Schmidt of Prairie and Austin Chmelik of Summit have been chosen for the boys South team. The girls game is set for 6 p.m. with the boys game at 8 p.m. In between will be 3-point shooting contests and a dunk contest. |
