Blood
drive is April 3
Each year, spring brings new life in nature. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming and the sun is shining. The American Red Cross invites you to celebrate the joys of renewal and help save lives by donating blood at the Cottonwood Blood Drive on April 3rd. The American Red Cross helps save lives each day by managing nearly half of the nation’s blood supply. Blood is needed every day, not just in emergencies or after a national tragedy. In the United States, every two seconds someone needs blood. It must be readily available for accident victims, routine surgeries, people with rare blood disorders and even some premature babies. Any healthy person age 16 (age 16 with a signed parental consent) or older and weighing at least 110 pounds may be eligible to donate blood. Valid identification is required for all blood donations. If you would like to donate blood please call either Brenda Kaschmitter or Cheri Holthaus at 962-3251 to schedule an appointment. Donate blood this spring and share in the warmth of the season.
