Easter greetings to each of you from the library. April is National Library Month. The Prairie Community Library will be celebrating by holding a drawing for two, one year membership cards. Each person to visit the library during the next two weeks will have their name put in the canister and the winner will be drawn on Saturday the 14th. During the full month of April the Library will be recognizing each child with a free book or a gift item. The end of April a drawing will be held for 10 Adult books. Celebrate by reading a good book during library month. Plans for the Super Sale during the community wide yard sale is in progress. It will be held in the Community Center and tables will be available for anyone wishing to hold their sale indoors. A food court will also be available. Contact 962-3561 or 962-8691 for more information. In support of the Library donated items would be greatly appreciated. There have been several new books placed on the shelves this past week including books on tape by popular authors. Is anyone out there interested in cassette or VCR tapes? There are a large variety of both in the library. Come on in and check us out. |
