Rad signs with Walla Walla
MeShel Rad of Prairie High School has signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball at Walla Walla Community College.  MeShel averaged 12.3 points per game, 15.1 rebounds and 3 steals during her senior year at Prairie.  She led the Whitepine League in rebounds.  She was just recently named Idaho 1A Player of the Year.
Walla Walla Community College is a member of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges.  WWCC has made it to the NWAACC Tournament’s Final Four the last three years.  The Warriors were 23-7 this year.
Quotes from Bobbi Hazeltine, Head Coach at WWCC:
“We are very excited to have signed MeShel.  She is an outstanding basketball player and a quality individual.  She should contribute right away.”
“MeShel is an exceptional rebounder, and that is a skill that is hard to teach.  She just has a nose for the ball.  Her rebounding numbers were off the charts this year.  She will help us in that area.”
