Chairman
still sought
The Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce is still seeking someone to coordinate a 150-year celebration. They are not really looking for a Buggy Whip Festival type celebration as it could be as simple as a spaghetti feed or barbecue one evening, maybe around the end of June, with space where those that would like to set up displays of their old photos and historical items can do so. Another thought was to time it with the release of the book in about November. There was also some thought of coordinating with the Raspberry Festival which this year will celebrate its 20th year as well as the 80th year of the museum. Or in conjunction with the Idaho County Fair. Contact Chamber President Greg Wherry at 962-3851 if interested.
