VFW Post Commander Jack Uptmor, left, and Commander-elect Joe Riener put up new flags on the flagpole on the corner of Nuxoll Shell Monday, May 7. The flags were donated by Prairie Computer Services. Others to have donated flags in the past were Harman Agency, City Electric, the VFW and American Legion.

The Kindergarten class at Summit Academy went to B & A Auto and St. Mary's Hospital for field trips on Wednesday, May 2nd.  Thank you Eric Wassmuth and Linda Beckman for taking the time to show us what it takes to be a mechanic and an EMT.  We had a blast! Click on the photos for larger views.
 
Mason McHugh placed 3rd in the Child Bloom Christmas Tunes guitar contest.  He received his congratulatory letter and $10 prize this week.Mason is the son of Ryan and Candice McHugh of Meridian, Idaho and the grandson of Mick and Judy Forsman of Ferdinand and Eugene and Jo Ann McHugh of Cottonwood.
