LeAnn Bovey who works in both the Craigmont and Cottonwood clinics has been named the May EOTM 
for St. Mary’s Hospital.
LeAnn has worked for SMH since August of 1997 prior to that she worked for Dr. Imhoff; “I was looking for a job locally and an opening with Dr. Imhoff was open so I applied and was fortunate enough to be hired and was trained and loved working in a medical office.” That was the beginning of career in the medical office field that has continued for over 15 years. LeAnn was mostly trained on the job, but completed both a medical terminology and transcription class; which she received certificates in. Currently she does admitting, scheduling, phones, scanning and basically whatever else needs to be done to help make the clinics run smoothly; which even includes housekeeping and sometimes a little maintenance work. According to a co-worker who nominated her; “she always goes the extra mile to help patients and her fellow co-workers. She is pleasant and has kept such a positive attitude amongst all the changes. She even took time on her day off to go to the clinic and deliver medications to a patient. LeAnn wears all hats and learns everything asked of her.” “St. Mary’s has been a great place to work and employs some of the best people I have ever worked with”, commented LeAnn. LeAnn enjoys gardening, landscaping, golf, bowling and reading. Her family includes her husband, Mark, children, Scott and his wife, Paige; Shawn and wife, Pam; Shannon and her husband, Scott; and her grandchildren; Hunter, Lane and Landon. |
