team at Area Best Meet
Summit Academy’s girls track team was at the Area Meet of Champions Thursday, May 3 at Lewiston with their 3 relay teams each placing 7th. The 4x100 team of Sarah Chmelik, Kayla Schumacher, Brooke Schumacher and Nicole Wemhoff was 7th in 56.41. The 4x200 team of Wemhoff, Brooke Schumacher Kayla Schumacher and Chmelik was 7th in 2:01.43. The medley team of Brooke Schumacher, Wemhoff, Chmelik and Kayla Schumacher was also 7th in 2:10.78. Brooke Schumacher was 19th in the 100 in 14.44. Chmelik was 17th in the long jump at 12’10½”.
