The Library will be closed on Saturday May 19th. as the staff prepares for the yard sale on that day . It will be held upstairs in the Community Hall. This will be the "kick off" for a library fund raiser with all proceeds to be used for purchase of new children's books. Tickets will be sold for a drawing to be held July 26, 2012, for a Savage Mark II 22 Rifle L R donated by Stacie Milliman. Other prizes include, Doman Kennel, $30.00 gift certificate, Klapprich Ag & Auto $25.00 gift certificate. Vicki's Place--Hair Products, Jitterz Java & Deli--$25.00 gift, $25.00 cash by Dorothy Arnoti and three personalized children's books by Donna Wassmuth. There will be independent vendors with a large selection of craft item for sale. Christine Munger, local artist, will be displaying her beautiful Americana Art. If you did not see her display recently in the library, stop in on Saturday and see what this talented lady has to offer. The Library table will offer a huge selection of books for all ages, video and cassette tapes, children's clothing and miscellaneous items all reasonably priced. Don't miss this one for there is something for everyone including a food court featuring pulled pork sandwich with drink at a reasonable price. For you young readers who enjoy "Fancy Nancy" books, five new books have been placed on the shelf for your reading pleasure. They include, Beginning Reading 1, "I can Read" Fancy Nancy and the Loose Tooth, The Mean Girl and the Delectable Cup Cakes. Also, Tea for Two and Elegant Easter.
