to graduate Friday
There will be 35 seniors graduating this Friday, May 25 at Prairie High School. Commencement exercises start at 7 p.m. in the Prairie Junior/Senior High School gym. Leading the class are co-valedictorians Mckenzie Candalot, Samantha Keating, MaKayla Schaeffer and Megan Sigler, all of whom had perfect 4.0 grade point averages over their 4 years of high school and salutatorian Troy Lorentz, who wasn’t far behind with a 3.96 gpa. Graduating with high honors (3.5 and higher grade point average) are Torin Dalgliesh, MeShel Rad, Demetria Riener, Josh Roeper and Amanda Stinson. Graduating with honors (3.0-3.49 gpa) are Breanna Bianchi, Jennifer Gimmeson, Monica Lustig, Samantha Poxleitner, Justin Schmidt, Kyle Uhlenkott and Joshwa Zigler. Making up the rest of the class are Micah Bartlett, Kyle Bower, Jeremiah Dale, Timothy Frei, Devon Leonard, Nathan Matson, Savannah Moudy, Robert Nau, Leslie Nida, Savanah Poxleitner, Ashley Ross, Garrett Roush, Cody Schumacher, Shawn Seubert, Alexandru Stefan, Devin Watton and Casandra Weightman. Commencement speaker will be Theresa Carter, a longtime PHS teacher who retired last year. The Class Flower is the Lily. Class Colors are Dark Purple, Silver and Black The Class Song is “Tattoos on This Town” by Jason Aldean The Class Motto is “We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other with us.” Good luck to all the graduates. |
