S. Krogh joins SMH staff
Andrea S. Krogh, Physician Assistant, will join the medical staff of St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics this July. She will see patients in the Kamiah clinic and will also fill in at the other clinics when needed. As a Physician Assistant; Andrea is able to diagnose and treat patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. Krogh received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska, Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University, Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from Lewis Clark State College and attended Washington State University where she studied pre-med. Andrea was born and raised in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic and came to America when she received a volleyball scholarship to WSU. Most recently, Krogh has worked in emergency medicine at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. Prior to that she was a Physician Assistant and Diabetes Educator for NiMiiPuu Health Clinic in Kamiah. “I feel privileged to be in a profession where I am able to help people with their health care needs in different stages of their life;” commented Krogh. “Working side by side with physicians to help people in my community is an exciting and rewarding experience.” Andrea, her husband and three children have lived in the Kamiah area for over fifteen years. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors and sports activities. |
